Bi Luo Chun is one of China’s ten famous teas, from tea gardens around the largest freshwater lake of China, Lake Tai, in Jiangsu Province. The finest Bi Luo Chun is so rare that we do not carry it every year; only when it meets our Imperial standards. We’re excited to find our 2009 harvest once again worthy and we are pleased and honored to present it to you again. The new Bi Luo Chun edition features an intense dark green leaf that yields a rich brew with a satisfying viscosity, striking sweetness, and powerful fresh taste. The infused tea leaves turns bright jade green, a trademark of the finest authentic Bi Luo Chun. In the cup its skillfully hand-crafted, downy leaves unfold to produce a delicate, aromatic, light golden liquor that opens with a fresh, soft bouquet of spring green. Bi Luo Chun is noted for its well-rounded sweetness and a lingering, mellow, slightly buttery, finish. A unique, superior tea with much in it to discover and appreciate.
